Most Developers I have met often times think that Coding nonstop is the key to being a great Developer.

From my observation, I say no. Maybe you don't have to work yourself and body out because of your dream or goal to be the best. All you have to do is to be smart with what you're doing and watch your health, because a sick Developer can neither be celebrated nor known, so you need sound health to achieve and witness your dream come through.

What are the benefits of taking a break?

  • You become smarter and highly productive in ideas. Most times after I've coded for hours I get this kind of headache and what do I do I just take a shower, take a glass of water and sleep. By the time I wake up, new ideas flow in...

  • You have a clear thinking of what you're working on.

  • You rest your eyes from the screen.

  • You get to focus on other areas or phase of life. Most times you might not have time for family because of a project but taking a break will surely make them happy to have you back with them again.

What can you do when having breaks from Coding?

  • You can exercise your body
  • Listen to music
  • Go on an adventure.
  • Go to tourist parks to have fun.
  • Try playing games to ease your head a bit of heavy codes
  • Try writing articles or stories or plans on your next project. Draw it down.
  • Smile. What else can you add??
