What JavaScript framework(s) should I try?

I'm someone that does not really like JavaScript. I'm making a web app and looking for a framework that is not too obtrusive and as easy to learn and use as possible.

My usage would be something that allows me to make a SPA. I would use it to make REST calls to an API and then display the data and manipulate data using forms.

I have looked into Angular and React, but those left me feeling that there's got to be something simpler?

I've also seen mention of Ember, Meteor, Aurelia, Vue and other frameworks, but I feel like the more I look the more frameworks I find and it's difficult to evaluate each one. It's even more difficult once I start getting into whether or not actually using it will be worth it . Will the framework even be supported next year? I guess anything other than React and Angular have more risk?

Of the frameworks I've looked at Aurelia seemed to be the closest to what I was looking for. Do you have any others to recommend?
