What has your experience been coding on the new touch bar MacBook Pro

Is there anything that throws you off when coding on the newer touch bar model?

I'm looking to buy a new MacBook. The Apple stores still have the older 2015 model in stock and I'm conflicted between the older one (which is cheaper and has all the ports I need) and the new one with the touch bar.
