What are your thoughts on making Bitcoin illegal tender in India...??

What might have motivated the government to take such decisions..?? As result even bitcoin prices are down. Does this affect Indian Startups dealing with crypto currency buy & sell business...?? Is it a good move for technology people building startups in Indian on Crypto Currencies..??
