Using Javascript or CSS to hide a field on a form

Hi all,

I'm new to Hashnode, found the site while trying to find a piece of code to help me with a project i'm working on. I am creating a job board for someone using the smartjobboard.com builder and some of the resume and job listing forms have fields that i need to hide. I was told this could be done with Javascript but since I can't seem to find any customizable code online i was wondering how hard it would be to write this with little/no experience in coding and if that's not an option where to go to have someone write it for me.

In the past I have found pre existing code that people have already written (usually for larger platforms) but in this case smartjobboard.com is less well known and i can't seem to find anything.

Any guidance that can be provided would be appreciated!
