Upcoming: Porting Legacy code, a work in progress series

Within the next few days I'll be beginning a series of posts on porting legacy code from a vanilla JavaScript/Node.js/socket.io/MongoDB codebase to Angular and Firebase. The series will be based on my daily feedback written for the client, which will then be adapted to be applicable for this site. Hopefully this should give a much more hands-on feel to my posts and give those who may be new to coding, or to the languages and frameworks involved, a feel for the process, from a personal, professional and technological perspective.
