Unable to start the tendermint node in Mint example

I was following this example Mint and when I tried to start the nodes using " tendermint node" command then it caused the crash. On, some debugging I found that once the tendermint node is started then instantly it sends deliver_tx "abcd" which this Mint example isn't expecting.
