I am going to make a game, with the end goal of shipping it. Along the way, I hope to learn a bunch of stuff. Mainly, I want practice programming, which I have not done much of recently. Here are the tools that I plan to use (in no particular order):

  1. Java (programming language)
  2. JUnit (unit testing framework for Java)
  3. Mockito (mocking framework for Java)
  4. LibGDX (game-development framework)
  5. Gradle (build management for Java)
  6. IntelliJ (IDE)
  7. Git (source management)
  8. SourceTree (Git client)
  9. BitBucket (Git hosting)
  10. Trello (task management)
  11. Sketch (graphic design)
  12. Blender (3D modelling)
  13. Krita (digital painting)
  14. Stackoverflow (lol)
