"This can be written in 5 lines of code". How do you respond to statements like this from your managers?

Hey there, my current manager has been making my life hell. He's neither a coder nor he understands how the code works. Every time, I work on something, he gets to review it. He thinks all the functions can be written in under 5 lines of code.

Here's the worst part: I have complained to other authorities about it and requested them to keep my feedback anonymous. Well, they didn't. Now, my manager is even more pissed off on me.

I guess he'll ask me to write these in 3 lines of code, next time. 🤦‍♀️
