The Most Important Lesson That I Learned From Bloc Bootcamp

There are many bootcamps out there. I researched each of them and read a lot of articles from Course Report. Which one should I pick? I asked myself that question and realized that there is no way to know the answer until I tried them.

I signed up the first bootcamp. After a month, I asked myself the question again. The answer is

Pick the bootcamp which has mentors.

I switch to a second bootcamp. After two months, I asked myself again. The answer is:

The bootcamp has mentors who

– is willing to learn about me (not only answer my questions).

At Bloc, after first couple months, I asked myself again. The answer is

The bootcamp has mentors who

– is willing to learn about me (not only answer my questions) AND

– able to challenge and encourage me (at the same time).

I have studied at Bloc for eight months and my answer totally changes.

The bootcamp has mentors who can help me realizing that

WITHOUT my passion and dedicate to learn, NONE of any bootcamp will work for me.

Now if anyone asks me “Which bootcamp should I pick?”

Know your passion and then sign up for any bootcamp until you know your way.
