“Stress is a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances.” Stress is very common amongst young people, almost everyone experience stress at some stage or time in their life and stress can lead to depression which is the more reason why stress management is very important. As an individual stress really affect my life in many ways, when I am stressed I become depressed and frustrated sometimes I get angry with everyone around me. “One should not let their feeling control them rather they should take lead of their emotions”. THREE STRESS MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES TO HELP DECREASE STRESS LEVEL.

  1. Better Time Management: Being able to manage your schedule effectively helps to reduce stress, having a lot of works on your desk without knowing where to start from can be really complicated.
  2. Identify the actual source of stress in your life: Get a journal and list out the things you do on a daily basis and how you feel about each of them, that way you will be able to understand your feelings and keep track of your stress level.
  3. Get moving: One of the best things I do when I am stressed is exercise like running, skipping, basketball, listen to music, eat food. Exercise helps distract you from worries and much thinking.
