Messed it all up on the first day of job

I started working yesterday, and I just found out that something I pushed actually broke the production database.

I was told that CTO wants to speak to me later today. Should I just pack and leave 🤦‍♂️

This isn't a joke. I prepared a doc that states the steps I've made, I'll see what CTO has to say in ~1h

Thanks for the support! It actually went well. I somehow hit an edge case which is why tests haven't caught an error and he just wanted to understand what exactly happened and what can be done so that it doesn't happen again.
