Does web development make any sense at all? The currently available interface (HTML/CSS/Javascript) tools are miserably broken. Am I the only one who thinks like this? or Is it really this bad?

Yes it makes a lot of sense. It may not be making sense to you because of the large amount of options it procvides.The tools are not broken its just that you dont fully understand their use and try to use them for what they are not intended.
