I don't know anything about coding. How can I learn please suggest!

I want to start learning how to code, I am looking for a way to learn.. I have been told about w3schools, and some YouTube videos. But I am not sure if I am able to understand what's going on as I am completely new to this.. Can someone suggest something that can help me start.?
