<p>I stumbled upon Hashnode this morning and decided to make a blog on it, since I am in the middle of looking for a home for my new site.  My obvious first choice was WordPress but I like the idea of a firehose pushing my content to other people without me needing to promote my content myself.</p>

<p>I work as a backend engineer piecing together systems that are used by internal stakeholders.  This frequently means a lot of data engineering work.  But also helping out with deployments of other internal tools which get me in front of Kubernetes manifests and Github administration.  So expect this content to be varied.</p>
