Hello folks, here is Nico. I'm so excited to start this new journey on this awesome community and with this incredible people which you are! I decided to begin to write some posts here to share my adventure in the world of development.

As my first post, I decided to start with a short story about my meeting with the world of development. I started to study development 1 years ago more or less, after spent many years studying and learning graphic design. Thanks to a person I knew the world of development and I completely fall in love with this universe done by slash, tag, array and so on. At the time I was attending a major on graphic design, at Academy of Fine Arts, in Italy, but I did not completely at ease during the lesson. Very often instead to listen the speech of my professor I was reading some blog by several developers around the world. JavaScript, HTML, Angular, Node, server and so on. These were the words with which I had to do every day. At the beginning I have to say it was very difficult connect the dots. I was a stranger in a new field.

Many times I thought to give up and to come back to my dear Illustrator or InDesign. Many times I thought "Why am I doing that?". But after a while I came back again over some codes or some blogs about some language code. I watched 2 times "The Social Network", the movie about Zuckerberg and the creation of Facebook. I wanted do the same. I wanted create some cool stuff to help people, to change the world. And I wanted to do that by coding.

I decided to leave the major on graphic design and I started to study self-taught language code. My parents, my sister, my girlfriend and my friends told me I was crazy, I couldn't leave major to follow a sudden passion. But I was so firm. I was (and I am) so convinced about my choice. I didn't want a piece of paper where someone can write I have a major on some subject. I wanted improve myself learning stuff that would improve me in the future.

I know I'm a newbie and I have a long road ahead. But I know if I want something with all my heart, if I put the maximum effort I will obtain the best in the future. Or at least, I will have no regrets on the future. I hope to meet cool and nice people here, also, to talk about developer or just to have a funny chat about something.

Thanks for the attention and sorry for my bad english. I want to text more and more even to improve my knowledge about this language.

Cheers!
