Complex and optimized dating SPA - native javascript+jQuery or React.js, what to choose?

I want to order for development dating SPA and I want that this SPA will be very quick and optimized. Some developers says me that best solution is native javascript + jQuery, some says that better to use framework. What way better to choose and why? It is possible to make and maintain complex SPA only on native javascript without framework?
