Best industry/company for balanced life?

Hi all, I'm a senior front-end developer with over 12 years of experience in the industry. I've been a part of enterprise clients and well-known startups, but I'm getting burnt out and frustrated with the meat grinder level of stress and pressure in agency/start-up life. I love what I do, and I don't want to hate it.

I'm looking to research an industry or type of company that meets these requirements as a baseline:

• Strict work/life balance
• You don't work under a constant state of panic every day.
• Remote (I've worked remote for six years)

I left my last company over six months ago for the reasons stated above and expressed these reasons to my current employer during the interview phase. They ensured me they do their very best to avoid this, but it ended up being untrue, repeatedly. This is a huge red flag. I think they just wanted someone very qualified. This is leaving me with a healthy dose of skepticism for other opportunities.
