As a developer did you face any issues with recruiters on LinkedIn ?

I might sound like an old fart, but I've been rethinking my use of social media the last few days.

I've never been on Facebook, had a go with Google+ (removed everything there), tried Ello (didn't use it), I'm on Twitter (actively using it) and just this morning, I've been cleaning out my LinkedIn profile.

That last one may sound weird, but for the last couple of years, the only activities that happened there were recruiters trying to convince me to go for that hot job they had at that impressive company. And last week one recruiter had the balls to actually call my work and ask for me... And that's where I draw the line.

I'm just wondering if you have the same kind of issues with LinkedIn or any other social media platform and if it's just developers and programmers.
