Any tutorial recommendations for getting used to Flux particularly Redux?

I'm a junior javascript developer who has had decent exposure to frameworks like angular and react as well as a good understanding of Node on the back end. However, the flux structure has me thoroughly confused.

1. Why Flux?
2. Why Redux vs vanilla flux?
3. Any good tutorials for getting my feet wet and head around this stuff?
