I joined the Aurelia team about a year ago. My focus has been building samples in TypeScript using AMD module loaders (requirejs & dojo), specifically so that I can build Aurelia Apps that use the ESRI JavaScript API. As part of this work, I created an Aurelia bundler using r.js to create an Aurelia library bundle.

I have also been heavily involved in the development of the Babel plugin that extracts TypeScript type definition files from the Aurelia ES6 source code. These type definition files include the original code comments, which are then run through the TypeDoc utility to generate JSON files used in the online Aurelia reference material.
