1. METAVERSE
2022 is definitely going to be one of the biggest years for metaverse because tech giants like APPLE ,MICROSOFT,META,GOOGLE have launched new products in this field. Metaverse is a virtual universe that blends aspects of digital technologies including video-conferencing, games like Minecraft or Roblox, cryptocurrencies, email, virtual reality, social media and live-streaming.
Not just the tech giants even other fields are gearing up to join metaverse. Renowned H&M store has even opened a 3D store in metaverse and soon McDonald's may launch it's first metaverse restaurant. CRAZZYYY!!!
2. BLOCKCHAIN
Blockchain or DLT(Distributed ledger technology) is seeing tremendous growth as more and more companies are using it in reforming their workflows. The blockchain concept predated its first widespread application in use: Bitcoin, in 2009. In the years since, the use of blockchains has exploded via the creation of various cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The use of blockchain technology is to curb fake billing and GST claims. Recently, Intel launched a new chip for blockchain applications such as Bitcoin mining and minting NFTs to cash in on the rising usage of cryptocurrencies.
3. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
In the last couple of years, we have witnessed a major fluctuation in the field of technology. Artificial intelligence is one of the most promising. It is set to change our lives as we know it. AI applications include advanced web search engines (Google), recommendation systems (used by YouTube, Amazon and Netflix), understanding human speech (such as Siri and Alexa), self-driving cars (e.g., Tesla), automated decision-making.
AI has been around for quite some time now and still, it continues to solve complex problems with ease. Nowadays, we are surrounded by AI, whether we know it or not.
4. CYBER SECURITY
Last but definitely not least, with the remarkable technological advancements in the last few years, cybercrime is still a matter of concern. Businesses are also adopting new cybersecurity technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), to monitor and guard networks against hackers in real-time.
