Great list, but 65 extensions is a lot. I think it might be better to just give 10 or so extensions based on which area of software development one specifies in...

I discovered a lot on new Extension. I don't recommend to use so many extensions as it increases system usage of VScode , systems with low specs will get slower and battery consumptions will also increases. I would suggest install only those which you use regularly and try to configure the VScode for better performance. abhav.hashnode.dev/how-to-make-vs-code-wor…
Fortunately, I haven't had too many problems with this setup, but then again I'm on an M1. You can also go to the Command Palette and look for Developer: Show Running Extensions, which will show activation time and how profile.
If you need 65 extensions, you’re using the wrong editor.
You never need 65 extensions, but if it super charges your workflow, why not?!
