Hey Tom, interesting article. Do I get it right that you are actually using the KIA API (unofficially documented). And the car periodically sends data to KIA's servers, from where you do the REST calls?

Exactly..

I push the KIA Servers to do the update periodically, and store the results into Oracle Database.
