Update
During the writing of the blog the firefox extension was under review, it is now available here addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hoo…
it doesn't support the hooking and exporting feature in firefox as it was mainly intended for chrome but the rest of the features (fortunately all the major ones) are available
The available features for firefox are:
- Rating and adding comments for websites
- Getting the ratings and comments on hover
- Getting recommendations to the right side with the newly found ratings
- Like the comments
Basically all the functionality with all fine details except for the below popup
Give it a try and stay tuned for the chrome version(the developer account is under review) which was the preferred platform and has the hooking and export/import hooks as well
Meanwhile for the curious ones follow the steps mentioned above to use the extension even before it is available to the public (only chrome users, however that's what we need now 😊)
Make sure you always use the latest version for firefox it is 1.3
Haha I was looking for this from a long time now! I knew someone would develop this, thanks man!
Thanks man, glad you liked.
Using it to store history of what you read each day/month across browsers would be a great usecase.
It's indeed a great idea, adding this on the roadmap.
Insightful
Thanks!
Needed one 💯
Thanks!
What font did you use in the above notes which is like handwriting?
I have used excalidraw.com for creating the notes, they have this font as a default it is called Virgil.
Good one! Does help to solve an actual real life problem💯 Also, the blog is well written :)
