Good resum茅 here on a few technical aspect. Unfortunately if that was so simple, everyone would be on page 1 right? and google results would be just 1 very long page.
I think there is one important point that you are not mentioning here and it's one of the most important to increase your chance of ranking content.
Content that speaks and bring value to your targeted users will make you rank. Full jobs and business are built around that; content creation, copywriting and planning for companies.
It depends on the keywords you want your website to be ranked in if your website name is unique and if there isn't a lot of competition in those keywords it is much easier. And honestly ranking your website on the top when your name is searched is easier than expected.
Content is for sure important that is why I added the rss feed and sitemap points
Avneesh Agarwal Yes of course, rss and sitemap have their importance. You are right about the keywords, the competition, the name etc :) that's where the tricky thing is right? How to find your ranking opportunities, which keywords relate to your business and your audience ? which are the ones that people search, how do you spot opportunities on your competitors where you can communicate about your USP and so on. But of course this is drifting a bit away, sorry about that.
