Very passionate article, Yosra! I have a special place in my heart for all the people who do CSS art! I can totally copy someone else's art, I mean not the code, but the design and then make it. But I can never do original things since I'm not an artist, I don't get that inspiration. I consider this a superpower ❤️
it's okay to create art that someone else makes but make sure they are fine with that. Some artists allow people to create their art in their own start so you can do that with CSS!

you can find drawings that you like and do them with CSS! but make sure that the original artist is fine with this :D

Super fun tutorial, and I added a few tweaks - made a top hat instead of the heart, and used variables to be able to change color.
Also, for the legs, since you're using flexbox, you can set the width to 100% instead of having to calculate body/number of legs.
Really great. I'm more of a UI designer, not an artist, but have been digging into Josh Comeau's terrific CSS course lately, which led me to go through this and try to duplicate before I looked at your code. This was really fun, thanks for the writeup and letting us in to your process!
