Yes Yuri!! That first thread you wrote was my first ever book mark and I even referenced it in my first ever Hashnode article 🔥
I’ve experienced the time you’ve put in first hand this week. You’ve got back to me on every comment and took a moment to DM me.
I hope you get out what you put in and thrive on the rest of your coding journey 🙌🏻
Thank you for your very kind words Zoë, I feel very honored it was your first bookmark🤯🤯🤣
You seem to work very hard. Keep doing your thing and you'll definitely go places😊🔥 It's really refreshing to see someone with such a positive outlook towards programming.
You should definitely let me know if you need help with anything, I'd love to help you!
Very informative post, good job Yuri!
One small thing: you may not be aware of this, but you can keep your header colour unset in other to maintain a consistent look across different colour themes. Here's how it looks like with dark theme enabled:
Broken image link, sorry:
Thanks for noticing this Maciej

Wow Yuri Lee, that's a lot of followers in a week. I can testify too, that engaging with others on their tweet really means a lot and I got followers by engaging with others.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Definitely! People are still humans whether or not they are behind a screen. Empathize, be kind, and talk with them! They will most likely respond in a kind way as well💛

I am a beginner and the best thing I did while learning to code is to create an account on Twitter. Like you, I too was not on social media for a long time. It has opened up a whole new world of opportunities and learning experience. People like you are preparing me for the future.😊
I couldn't agree more!
Honestly, I didn’t know the power of social media up until now.
Building an online presence is as equally important to your career as perfecting your programming skills.
Wish you the best!
Really it's very helpful .🙏🙏🙏
Btw I am 15 years old front-end developer and python programmer 🐍 .
As i am a student , i can't spend so much time to tech twitter , and that's why I can't gain engagements from people . Is there any solution for that ?
Thanks dude!! Glad you found it helpful.
Yeah, I'm probably doing it wrong, spending 6hrs on Twitter isn't healthy😂
I'd say just get on Twitter when you can, and create content whenever possible. Don't stress yourself, and keep creating! People understands we have lives outside of Twitter.
Great read! Thank you for posting this.
Thank you so much Ruan, glad you enjoyed my post!!
Something that every new/old Twitter user should read.
Because it's something exceptional what you did Yuri!
Thank you Csaba!! and I agree, many people are focused on the technical aspect of Twitter algorithm, like using keywords, but there's so much more to that!!
Thanks for sharing this such an informative Blog, yuri!
Definitely looking forward to implement some of your Ideas!
Lots of love!! ❤️
Do you think being a 'girl' helped you in growing your audience ? Yuri Lee
Hm...I don't know. I'd like to believe it didn't, and that it's my efforts paying off. But if we're being realistic, tech twitter is male dominant, so as much as I wish it didn’t, maybe it did. If that makes sense.
Yuri, I just read your thread on Twitter. Wow. It's nice to meet you ☺
Love your content. I found about you from Twitter. Would you mind sharing an example DM that you would send when asking for feedback? Thanks :))
