I am a developer from many places, many industries, and many languages and environments. I've run my own software development company (for 10 years, and then sold it and stayed on 7 more years). I've done a lot in material handling, web development, API work, and much more. I've worked in all phases of software design and development, from initial client contact, to developing concepts and documentation, leading and working with developers, working remotely. I've calculated that I've worked 10,000 days in this industry, and that's where the name of my blog comes from ;-)
