Mike Talbot

I'm a self-taught coder, full stack developer, and database manager using primarily R, PHP, and PostgreSQL, respectively. I'm also an open-source enthusiast with extensive experience in geospatial data management, processing, and visualization using QGIS, SAGA GIS, and PostGIS.

I've worked as a consulting engineer since 2013, specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater and floodplain management, and watershed planning. I'm excited to be starting a PhD program in spring of 2024 in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University.
