About Me
I am a software engineer for the NSW Government - part of an initiative to use Conversational AI to better facilitate access to critical services across the government sector for every resident within the state.
As a full-stack developer with over three years of experience, my previous contributions include working for an incredible climate tech startup (ClimateClever, check them out!), as well as overseeing various freelance projects for private clients.
My greatest strengths are my ability to communicate and a penchant for diving into unfamiliar projects head-first. I love a good adventure (like the time I went to China, stayed for over a year, then moved to Australia). Additionally, I have a knack for making a positive difference wherever I go, thinking up unusual solutions, and system design.
When I am not working, you can find me lost in a good book on tech (my family will attest that I’m practically a book on legs), or writing programming tutorials for my blog. I like to jam on my Stratocaster when I need to decompress.
I love having my mind blown by learning new things, and I swear under my breath approximately 80% of the work day. I build things using Javascript, Node, C, and Rust, and hope that maybe one day I’ll be skilled enough - and lucky enough - to make a difference.
